Here’s your chance to sign up!  The McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce has a wonderful membership benefit for you and your employees.  Chamber committees and programs offer unique opportunities to:

Consider one of our following committees:

 Small Office Home Office  (SOHO) Meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at Home State Bank, 4401 Prime Parkway, McHenry.  This group is designed to focus on the issues, challenges and concerns of the area’s home-based businesses.  Monthly networking meetings, including speakers and other interactive programming.  Plans annual SOHO Expo.

Young Professionals – Encourages young professionals ages 40 and under to meet in an informal setting for professional development, to plan community service projects and network in a business friendly setting.  Meets second Thursday at 4:45 pm at Firewood Grille, 2314 W. Route 120, McHenry

WINGs – Women’s Interactive Networking Group committee meets bi-monthly to plan meetings that help women group professionally.

Annual Dinner Dance  – A theme oriented January dinner dance offers members and their guests the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful evening with friends while dining and dancing in a festive environment.  Committee organizes and develops this gala, which draws over 300 of McHenry’s notable people.  Meets monthly beginning in April until the dance.           

 

          

Fiesta Days – Is 10 days of family fun that includes a parade, Arts & Crafts In The Park, Sidewalk Sales, Plywood Boat Challenge, Food Fest, Teen Night, Music Fest Weekend, Family Faith Nite, Car Show and lots of entertainment designed to please the entire family.  The Committee that organizes this special event meets year round.  Subcommittees are formed in October.

Golf Outing – Area business owners and their guests spend a fun-filled day golfing and dining at one of McHenry’s premier golf courses.  Prizes, 50/50 raffles, and networking are just a part of this inviting May day.  The Committee meets monthly beginning in September.

Country Meadows– Is a one day September show open to the public with over 200 exhibitors displaying handmade, quality crafts, a farmers market and antiques.  Committee meets monthly beginning in January to plan event, coordinate food booths, juries and crafters.

Scramble- The Scramble is a Structured Progressive Networking Luncheon whereby representatives from growth oriented businesses have the opportunity to promote their company’s unique benefits to other businesses.  99% of prior attendees claim meeting business contacts.



  Sponsorships- The McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce offers sponsorships for many of its events.  Sponsorships show pride in the community, gain visibility for the sponsor while showing organizational commitment to the business community.
